This broken, discarded mirror and round frame was recovered to become the feature of this new round table top. The glass was gone. The glass insert support panel had been punched with a large hole in it. Once saved, it was reconstructed with a new support back, added cut slate stone and secured on top of an old discarded wrought iron end table. The end table was tossed because its top was composed by a broken glass and a destroyed wood framed top. The iron tray was bent out of shape and no longer fit its position below the table top. That was easy to fix. Cleaned up, rust removed and attached firmly to the underside of this re-purposed mirror...snap...a new eclectic contemporary table. It looks cool. It is stout. It can fit into any current design arrangement. This was a wonderful recovery of some discarded pieces. It will make someone a good home.
